Founded in 2002 in Santa Monica, CA, Butterflyvista Corporation was born out of a need to solve problems and change people´s lives for the better. On any problem that we tackle, we research what would be the best method to solve the problem. We then design a solution using technology, ingenuity, collective experience, and innovation. We look at accepted practices as a start and see if turning the existing model on its head makes sense or use some sort of hybrid.

With the internet bringing the world closer together and technological advancements change our lives on a continual basis, certain things do not change, or at least change much slower. The human factor is the same now than generations ago.

Take Jobfish, our offering to help individual job candidates get a leg up. Butterflyvista created Jobfish, so that candidates have a tool that directly focuses on them. The tools that exist today were created with massive amounts of corporate dollars with the sole purpose to help corporations. Applicants get helped as a byproduct. At no point does any of the current tools think how the job applicant would be better served. The thought that Corporate America has is how to best maximize lead generation, both monetarily and from a quality standpoint. The way people search today is no different than it was decades, of not a century ago. Job boards replaced newspapers, but little else changed. Friends and family still account for the vast majority of jobs. That is where Butterflyvista comes into the picture. Jobfish along with our other services creates a new paradigm for job search.

With the recession being almost a second Great Depression, people are suffering financially. You may not see it walking in malls or at stores, but the problem is real. Wages are steadily decreasing, and some who lose their job for whatever reason are distraught like never before, some to the point that they become not themselves and are willing to take matters into their own hands violently.

Butterflyvista Corporation launched Jobfish in 2004. In 2013, we launched an existing new version starting over and created from the ground up to take what we collectively learned, fusing that with modern software development technology, and a clearer focus on how to achieve our goal to help the job seeker. We fully support our software. Many companies put up road blocks for support or if you are lucky provide you with outsourced support through a company that knows next to nothing about the product or service. Our web offerings range from Microsoft ASP.Net to WordPress to PHP/MySQL. With WordPress we can create for you a site that virtually nobody would be able to tell that it is a blogging software, or we can set you up a blogging site. We can develop for you a custom solution using Microsoft ASP.Net. Our site uses ASP.Net, so you can get a feel for what the platform can do.

We have in-house graphic development services, so we can provide a total solution for your needs. We can also use your graphics. Our graphic team uses Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premier Pro. We can integrate multimedia into your solutions.

Our CEO is also an embedded systems software engineer since the mid 1980s. Our company has also consulted almost continuously for other clients developing various embedded products ranging from aerospace to medical to industrial to storage solutions.
